Jinboucho Books

Well, im in the 3rd week of my new job. My company is a small venture company that works with various clients on all different kinds of projects. Honestly, I really dont know what we do. I am now the "web programmer”, but since I joined a small company it means that I am also the designer, tester, server administrator, etc. Also, besides programming they also ask me to do various other tasks. I am still trying to get used to the job.
My company is located in Jinbocho, which is in the middle area of Tokyo. Jinbocho is famous for having lots and lots of used book stores selling rare and very old books.

  1. How about a photo of where you work? Are your Japanese language skills serving you well, and is your command of English also valuable in your new job?

  2. Perhaps you won’t make the same mistake as I did: In NC I once perused an old antique sale and found a library in the basement. There was an very old style looking book of Tarzan in fairly good condition. I flipped through it for any interesting bookmarks or notes. But as soon as I put it down an old couple came from the shadows and snatched it up. "Look honey, a single publication date, meaning its the first issue. We can sell this!”
