thin = cancer

As I was reading a magazine today I came across this..


"The National Cancer Center said that thin people are more apt to develop cancer than fat people”

If that is the case, I’m screwed.

  1. Which "national cancer center,” Japan’s? Maybe that’s for only thin, Japanese people who live in Japan.

    here is an abstract of the same thing from Medline plus. Seems to be just japanese men, so I wouldn’t worry until a more expansive study is done…too many confounds at this point. BTW, pass along any more of these articles u come across…they make good study breaks :-)
